Optizolin is an anti-allergic eye drop for topical use. It is a combined ophthalmic preparation designed to relieve itching, irritation, and redness of the eyes caused by allergic reactions. The medication combines antihistamine and vasoconstrictor components, providing rapid relief of allergic conjunctivitis symptoms.
Pharmacological properties:
• Antazoline blocks histamine H1 receptors, reducing allergy symptoms such as itching, tearing, and hyperemia, and has mild local anticholinergic effects.
• Tetrahydrozoline is a sympathomimetic with vasoconstrictive action that reduces redness and swelling of the conjunctiva by decreasing vascular permeability. It relieves symptoms within 5–10 minutes and maintains effect for 4–6 hours.
Indications for use:
• Allergic conjunctivitis
• Pollinosis (hay fever accompanied by eye symptoms)
• Reactions to dust, animal hair, cosmetics, pollen, and other allergens
• Eye redness caused by environmental irritants.

• Adults and children over 6 years: instill 1–2 drops into each eye 2–3 times daily.
• Maximum duration of use: no more than 7 days without consulting a doctor.
