Composition:

Each Mosapride 5 mg tablet contains:
Mosapride citrate — 5 mg.

Pharmacological properties:

Mosapride is a selective agonist of 5-HT₄-serotonin receptors:
1. Stimulates gastrointestinal motility:
Accelerates gastric emptying.
Improves peristalsis of the esophagus, stomach and intestines.
2. Reduces symptoms of dyspepsia:
Reduces the feeling of fullness, heaviness, nausea.
Can relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux.

Indications for use:

Functional dyspepsia
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
Delayed gastric emptying (including diabetic gastroparesis).

Method of administration and dosage:

Usually taken 5 mg 3 times a day, before meals.
The tablet should be taken with water without chewing.
The dosage may be changed by the doctor depending on the patient’s condition.
