Pharmacological properties:
Methylprednisolone is a synthetic glucocorticosteroid with powerful anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, and antiallergic effects. It suppresses inflammatory processes by reducing the production of inflammatory mediators and decreasing capillary permeability, as well as inhibiting immune responses in the body.
• Usual adult dose: 4–48 mg per day, depending on the condition
• Dosage may be adjusted individually by the physician
• Tablets should be taken orally with water, preferably in the morning.
