Composition (per 1 capsule):

• Alfacalcidol — 0.25 mcg.

One-Alpha 0.25 mcg is a drug based on alfacalcidol, an analogue of the active form of vitamin D. It is used for the treatment and prevention of conditions associated with impaired calcium-phosphorus metabolism, such as osteoporosis, rickets, hypoparathyroidism, and chronic renal failure.

Prevents and treats osteomalacia and osteoporosis.

Indications:

Osteoporosis.

Dosage and administration:

• Usual starting dose for adults:
0.25–0.5 mcg once daily orally.

• Maintenance dose: individualized depending on blood calcium and phosphorus levels.
• In patients with chronic renal failure, monitoring calcium levels is mandatory.
• Take with a small amount of water, regardless of food intake.
