Normo-Tears is an ophthalmic moisturizing agent (artificial tears).
It is used to relieve symptoms of eye dryness, irritation, and fatigue caused by environmental exposure, visual strain, or reduced tear production.
Pharmacological properties:
Normo-Tears contains a combination of two active ingredients that provide moisturizing and protective effects on the eye surface:
• Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose forms a stable tear film on the eye’s surface, reducing moisture evaporation and relieving symptoms of dryness.
• Dextran 70 enhances hydration and has a gentle lubricating effect.
• The product restores the natural moisture of the cornea, relieving the sensation of grittiness, burning, and eye fatigue.
• Provides short-term but effective relief in cases of dry eye syndrome.
Indications for use:
• Dry eye syndrome
• Eye irritation caused by external factors (wind, dust, screen exposure)
• Eye fatigue due to prolonged computer use
• After ophthalmic procedures or contact lens wear (as advised by a doctor)
• Supportive therapy for inflammatory eye conditions.
Dosage and administration:
• Instill 1–2 drops into each eye 3–4 times a day or as needed
• Do not touch the eye with the dropper tip
• Not for use with soft contact lenses (due to benzalkonium chloride content); lenses may be reinserted at least 15–20 minutes after application
• Use within 28 days after opening the bottle.
