Composition:

• Vardenafil — 10 mg per tablet.

POWERECTA is a medication for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men. It contains vardenafil, a powerful PDE5 inhibitor that improves blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. It provides a stable and controllable erection. The effect begins within 30–60 minutes and lasts for up to 4–5 hours.
Suitable for men with moderate to severe erectile dysfunction. Concurrent use with nitrates and alcohol is not recommended.

Pharmacological properties:

Vardenafil is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used for erectile dysfunction. It enhances the relaxation of smooth muscle and increases blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation by increasing the level of cGMP.

Indications for use:

• Erectile dysfunction (inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse).

Method of administration and dosage:

Adults aged 65 and older — 5 milligrams (mg) as a single dose, no more than once per day, approximately 1 hour before sexual activity. The doctor may adjust the dose if necessary. However, the dose usually does not exceed 20 mg once a day.
Adults under 65 — 10 mg as a single dose, no more than once per day, approximately 1 hour before sexual activity. The doctor may adjust the dose if necessary. However, the dose usually does not exceed 20 mg once a day.

Important: the medication works only in the presence of sexual stimulation. Do not use together with nitrates (risk of sudden drop in blood pressure).
